Have a good look at this list:

See any names on there you recognise?
Go on, I’ll give you a clue… It’s in alphabetical order and you’re looking for surnames begining ‘H’ and ‘M’.
That’s right- ‘Humble’ and ‘Marsden’!
Any guesses as to what the list is about?
Yup- it’s the list of MPs who voted against reform of the parliamentary expenses gravy train, including the generous £24,000 annual allowance for MPs’ homes. BBC News has more.
Serving the people of Blackpool- or just serving themselves?

Definitely serving themselves. Why should we work struggling through the credit crunch while our lazy self serving MPs splash out on John Lewis gear at our expense? Unfortunately Marsden is my local MP, and I think he is totally useless. Cares about Blackpool about as much as I do about football (not at all!) I will be glad to get shot of him at the next election. I hope Humble goes too. They never have served Blackpool and never will.

Excellent blog! Glad to see someone giving our ‘representatives’ a bloody nose and telling it like it is!

Amongst the plethora of ambiguous correspondence with the elusive pocket filler, Gay Gordon, was his reaction to the terrorism threat. I was assured that he was aux fait with the situation as he had been within 200 mts of a terrorist attack in London.
It puts my chasing protestant gunmen across the roves of the Shankill, with nothing more than a piece of wood to shame, replied I.

Yes and whilst they are all ensuring that their own finances are supplemented, the rest of us have to suffer in the current economic climate brought about by this Labour goverment, with the effective connivance of the other parties, too weak or willing to allow things to go ahead. Meanwhile, in spite of the mess we are in, are they at the tiller trying to put things right, no, they are fretting about losing their seats…quite right too.
